Scrapbook Boutique February Challenge and Blog Hop

Welcome back to Scrapbook Boutique's monthly challenge and blog hop.  This is the first challenge of the new year, and you should have arrived here from Angela's amazing blog but if you didn't and want to start at the beginning, just click on the SBB blog link above and start again!

Here is our February Mood Board

Now to the housekeeping part - if you want to create something or just join in to win, there are two ways you can participate in this challenge and have a chance to win a prize.  You can comment on each blog, ending with the SBB blog, or you can create a project (either a card, scrapbook layout or off the page project) inspired by the photo above.  Of course you can do both for a chance to win both prizes!  Please check out the rules of entry, and the prizes at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog and note that this challenge is open to Australian  and New Zealand residents.

I was very much taken with the tree silhouette lit by the moon behind, so this is what I came up with.  I repeated the cut out circle frame, with the horizon as its base, and stamped the focal image of a plane as the feature.  I also loved the mottled effect over the light, and used a series of foliage stamps to create my horizon, and splotchy spongeing for the mottled hills/clouds - not sure what they could be.  A sentiment stamped and gold embossed, and a few gold Nuvo drops completes my card.

Now you should hop on over to Linda's blog to find out what she has created to inspire you!

Thanks for visiting and happy crafting!
