Scrapbook Boutique July blog hop and challenge

Welcome once again to Scrapbook Boutique's monthly challenge and blog hop.  You should have arrived here from Angela's amazing blog but if you didn't and want to start at the beginning, just click on the SBB blog link above and start again!

Now to the housekeeping part - if you want to create something or just join in to win, there are two ways you can participate in this challenge and have a chance to win a prize.  You can comment on each blog, ending with the SBB blog, or you can create a project (either a card, scrapbook layout or off the page project) inspired by the moodboard below.  Of course you can do both for a chance to win both prizes!  Please check out the rules of entry, and the prizes at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog and note that this challenge is open to Australian  and New Zealand residents.

What a beautiful blaze of blue - just love this teal colour with such a lot to love amongst the images!  There are shoes and handbags, Paris and perfume, haute couture and architecture - are you excited enough to put your creativity into use?  I certainly was and below is my interpretation of this fabulous moodboard.

I heat embossed the image in the stamp by Carabelle Studio onto watercolour card before colouring it with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers.  I added a bit of gold foil onto an image of the Eiffel Tower, by free-hand drawing it with deco glue first and letting it dry before rubbing on the foil.  I picked up on the script background, stamping it in the corners, and added touches of gold crystal dots to complete my card.

Now you should hop on over to Linda's blog to find out what she has created to inspire you!

Thanks for visiting and happy crafting!
